We are WOVEN

WOVEN Women’s Movement recognises the deep yearning of many women for more connection and support in their lives. Women are the weavers of community and when we come together around a shared intention, we naturally support, uplift & empower one another.

Each New Moon, WOVEN brings women together in circles, to weave. We invite First Nations Elders & more experienced weavers to come & teach this ancient art, which is common to all Traditional Cultures.

Weaving is a simple but powerful ritual. As we sit together with our hands in motion, we share our stories & our hearts feel calm & connected. Working with our hands we wake up the ancestral memory that lives in our bones; Weaving connects us to all the women who came together throughout time.

WOVEN Women’s Movement is about weaving strong supportive networks and returning to the gentle & powerful ways of women. Together we are nurturing the deep connection and empowerment that has always been our birthright.
