ACUPUNCTURE
The thing that I love most about Traditional Chinese Medicine is the ability to treat each person individually and holistically, drawing together seemingly complex signs & symptoms into an elegant and treatable pattern. Acupuncture can treat both physical & emotional layers, working harmonically with the body with very little side effects.
LOMI LOMI MASSAGE
Lomi Lomi is an Ancient Polynesian Massage that uses long flowing strokes and a rhythmic motion. It feel’s like having the ocean dance with your body! It is deeply restorative and nourishing, working layer by layer, to soften the body’s connective tissue, and relieve tension & stress.
HOT STONES
Hot Stones is a magical therapy that has been used by many cultures across the world. Using smooth volcanic rocks that are heated and placed on the body over specific points or incorporated into massage, it is deeply grounding & relaxing. The stones anchor the nervous system, resolving anxiety, supporting sleep, nourishing tissues & clearing pain.
CUPPING
Cupping is an Ancient Chinese art that uses glass cups to draw out toxicity and move blockages from the body. It clears out stagnant energy from the organs, like phlegm from the lungs or heat from the liver, and promotes circulation where there is pain and inflammation.
MOXIBUSTION
Moxibustion (Moxa) is an ancient practice of burning a herb called Mugwort near the skin in specific locations. Moxa works deeply to nourish & move the blood. It is extremely valuable in Birth and the Postpartum Care, as it can help turn breech babies, lift prolapses or low lying placentas, stop excessive blood loss, and build energy after depletion.
GUA SHA
Is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique of rubbing a smooth edged tool along the surface of the skin. Gua sha is excellent for promoting blood circulation & lymphatic drainage. It can help with resolving pain, clearing blockages in the skin and tissues and releasing heat from the body.
